Member Posts: 7	hey all im juss wounderin what i need to get i got a vl wagon all gears work but revers i hav carrently got a near master cylender n a slay clyender but i dnt no what eles i need to get 4 reverse to work can any1 help me out on this

Member Posts: 371	Simple,reverse syncro is fucked.if the dog teeth are worn down it makes it hard to get reverse.drain the oil out n see if there's any metal in it,if so then the box has to come out to get it repaired.

Member Posts: 371	You wasted your money but anyway,to fix it you got to pull the box out n give it to a tranny builder,price to rebuild the box complete is around $550 mark,but repair it you mite get it done between $250 & $440 depending who you go to.
