| do i need a decomp plate |

Posts: 7 | HI hows it goin, im 14 nd just bought my first vl Agriv8 nd was hoping to turbo it, i have heard various things but i was hoping to run around 10-15 psi nd was wondering if i need a decompression plate any replies are appreciatted, also if anyone is sellin a 5 speed manual gearbox suitable for a VL CALAIS let me know...peace up

Posts: 7 | ahh im from melbourne, my friend is selling vn manual trans but hes thrashed his car nd im not too sure of the conditoon but i will try the wreckers, do u no if i need to use a decomp plate to run that much boost o

Posts: 190 | R33 skyline manual box will fit straight behind yours,only thing you need to do is change the front yoke on the tailshaft to suit the different splines on that box.if you are turbocharging your N/A motor,yes you'll need to use a decomp plate.
Higher compression will cause pinging under boost.
Lower compression means you can run more boost.

Posts: 46 | try ebay some people make new ones and sell them not hard to make a plastic mould the same. i got mine off ebay i split mine while trying to change to a leather boot
