Posts: 436 | Its common where its rusting, replace your shocks n springs n it'll handle alot better.you can put lowered springs in if you wish to but the ride will be hard depending how much you lower it.ebay has bumpers for $140,the rust can be fixed but if its rusting in the actual recess of the windsreen then the windscreen has to come out, around 400 to 800 to fix but depends who you go to.

Posts: 436 | Yeah,octane booster helps a little bit.
If you got a LSD of an R31 with a 3.89 ratio then your laughin coz they take off like a scalded cat.
Enginewise,it still cost money but you can go a cam n valve springs or ECU mods.try lookin for a an R31 GTS cam
n valvesprings from camtech, crow or crane cams.other than that not much else you can do unless you spend a bit.

Posts: 436 | Anything really mate, there basically the same engines.
RB30 on RB30,all the same componentry.
The only things that are different on the RB30et compared to the RB30e
is the turbo engine runs a different ECU,injectors and fuel pumps, has a lower compression ratio of 7.8:1,a higher volume oil pump, the cam is larger and has a bigger lift and duration of 252.
The RB30e has a higher compression ratio of 9.0:1,the oil pumps are'nt as big because they dont have a turbo to feed oil to,hence higher volume oil pumps are used with the VLT,and the cam on the RB30e has smaller lift and duration which is 248.
If you want balls then just turbo your engine,i build them day in day out n i guarantee you will enjoy these engines mate, there alot of fun!
