Posts: 18 | hay people iv got a vl turbo engine(rb30et) in a non turbo vl shell dose it needed to be certified ?? and if so why ?? and wats the difrnce betwen a vl turbo and a non turbo besides engine !! thanks

Year and model have nothing to do with it,fact is VL's came out turboed n thats it!
Im just doing the same thing as what you're doing,the only thing in doing extra is putting VS SS V8 brakes n discs on it n upgrading suspension.
Just put your turbo engine in,tell the RTA that you put a reco'd engine in,then go see an engineer for your brake upgrade if doing so then if not then leave it.
I have'nt a any drama's with this.
