Posts: 1 | Im after a awsome setup ATM i have Pioneer MP3-WMA doe-302g or something headunit and 6x9 pioneer 260watts in the rear and pioneer 4inch 110watts in the dash all running off the head unit with no amp. I want to put a sub in that will make it sound alot better without breaking the bank. can someone recomend the sub and amp to get?

Posts: 4 | MALTIE mate i wanted the same thing but i put that stuff in my mums car (she was gonna give it 2 me till i said i want a vl) it had a pioneer head-unit sony xplode 6 1\2 inches in the front a set of 300WATT xplode 6x9's in the bak and i wanted a sub and amp. i dont kno what amp u should get cause i got mine from a mate for $30 but if u want a cheap quality sub or 2 go to JB HI-FI and get the black pentagonal 1000WATT sub i got mine for $100

Posts: 4 | u can pick up decent sub and amp 4 round 4-5 hunge. u dnt wnt 2 go 2 cheap on price coz quality matters. i hav alpine in my car and they weren't 2 expensive. there are better. look at the rms output 2. more rms louder, clearer sound

Posts: 5 | i bought a "max turbo" sub off ebay and it sounded pretty good, made mad boot rattle, i have now upgraded to an audiopipe 15" from america

Posts: 3 | i have a JBL 1000watt sub and a boss 1000watt amp cost around 500=600 for that set up cops can hear it a block away pluss running a set of sony x-plod 240 watt 6x9's and sony x-plod 270 watt 6 inch splits up the front with a pioner head unit the amp only runns the sub its a sweet combo and u can get all that from straithfield i dunno where u get the head unit from though

Posts: 5 | I have a pioneer headunit, alpine type S 6.5" 2 ways in front doors, Sony 3 way 6X9" on parcle shelf and i have pioneer 6.5" 3 ways to go in the rear doors or to replace cheapo sonys and i have a 1300w mono block running my sub and will have a 4ch 1000w amp running my speakers when i get my distro block off my mate.
I had 5 people in my street ring the cops lol, next door recon it was vibrating the windows (they like to complain about everything )

Posts: 31 | man hit up Strathfield car radio. i had a 15" boss audio sub and a 600watt avalanche 4 channel. put out 129.9db and only cost me $250 with a wiring kit.
