Posts: | You can get larger injectors, but the injectors will only run as fast as your standard ECU tells it to.
You'll get a bit more bottom, midrange or topend, but it depends on what size injector you use.
Anywhere between 380 and 550cc injectors will work reasonably well with the standard ECU,but a remap works well with larger injectors.
RB26 GTR injectors are 1000cc,thats way too big!unless you have an aftermarket ECU,FPR,fuel pumps n shit.
Try RB25 injectors or just repair the ones that are leaking(hose top or O ring).one VL Turbo injector will cost you $90 form repco.
Hope this helps

Posts: 41 | nahh stuff getting the standard vl injectors the whole set from repco would have cost me 700 bucks stuff that not so i can break them again couse this car is constantly in high rpm so im wondering say if i go from example standard injectors are 300cc each i dont know wat they are and i go up to 450cc each the injectors dont have to work hard to pump fuel into the engine where as the other smaller ones do and will break again? if your 100% that other injectors will work i will get the rb25 only if they are stronger then factory vl injectors

Posts: 472 | Like i said before, the injectors will only run as fast as the ECU tells them to.
If the engine's mainly on the boil(higher revs)then yeah go a bigger injector, keep in mind your holding it back a little because of the standard ECU and the standard pump.
But get your hands on a set of RB25 injectors, there a real good upgrade.

Posts: 36 | hey champ if ur are running a naturally aspirated rb30 i doubt u will ever need more than std vl turbo injectors.... based on a rough caculation vl turbo injectors flow enough fuel for around 330hp at 100% duty cyle. You can also bump up fuel pressure to flow even more... i guess my point is unless ur going to pull a couple of hundred horsepower out of your hat u simply don't need massive injectors spend your money on mods that will actually make power..... also i doubt very much that a std vl turbo ecu would run 380cc injectors never mind a na ecu without a chip or some sort of interceptor....

Posts: 308 | mad bruzz simply buy the best aftermarket ems and 1000cc injectors an a fuel pump or two should hardly put a dint in your bank you say your motor is not stock so to really use those injectors and ecu get a high mount exhaust manifold a crazy t70 with high flow bearings and the biggest wastegate you can get. you should have a really fucking quick car that will run a lot of boost if your motor doest shit its pants
