Posts: 241 | what type of bearings are used in a standard vl turbo and are they only radial and axial bearings?
also what types of bearings are used in passenger turbos?

Posts: 191 | Standard VL turbo's had a wet bearing(bush type)in the turbo itself.

Posts: 241 | can ball bearings be fitted as axail radials to replace the old bearings or will i need to replace the bearing housing to do that?

im guessing if the taper n recess are close,right or machined out you could do it,but that cost $$$$$,may as well just buy one.
