Posts: 36 | Hey all was wondering if anyone has had any hands on experience fitting one of these types of turbos to a vl. is it possible to retain the factory exh manifold?
Appart from a new dump pipe, external wastegate, oil water lines, intake and intercooler piping is there anything i'm missing? please help i have my heart set on this particular turbo and perfomance shops are generally more interested in dollar signs.

Posts: 241 | i dont know any thing bout that type of turbo but you cant keep std manifold if you use an external gate unless you modify it.
it will bolt straight on if the turbo has a t3 exhaust flange and feed lines wouldnt be a prob if you got braided lines (flexable).
im not too keen on ceramic turbine wheels as you cant wind much boost or so it seems in import mags i really dont know ant thing bout them apart from what ive read and my bros r33 has one
