Posts: | No way!standard vl's came with 114Kw at the flywheel,minus 20-25% drivetrain which leaves you with a total of 86Kw at the wheels,on a NEW ENGINE!You wouldnt achive 90 with just an exhaust mate!with your full exhaust system does that mean you have decent pair of superflow headers or plain old everyday extractors?as for KnN take 5hp off,reason,nissan has $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$and how much money do you have?(RnD)of a highflow fresh air,airbox system
standard airflow system is quite sufficiant.if you really want a go air intake system get your intake outside in the cold fresh air.
1BHP per 20 degrees cooler air,rule of thumb!

Shane,short answer is no!not possible with just an exhaust nor a KnN filter.
To gain decent power then go a set of headers n a full system,cold air induction,stage 2 chip for the ECU,
colder plugs,headwork,cam,top gun 8mm leads,advance the timing.
Trick is to breathe in and breathe out fast,better induction,better venting=better power.
Or turbo it mate,your choice on the dollars you spend!
