| crank ventilation | | MICHAEL | Posted @ 06 Dec 2007, 1:18pm | Member
Posts: 241 | the pcv hose sucked together (vacuum) and eventually sucked a hole in the hose. i replaced it with a new one and seems like its about to do the same. i am thinking about putting a oil catch can on or how do you clean the pcv plug in the plenum? do they need cleaning?
hope i explained that right
inside the plenum was clean and shiny with little soot residue
the hose splits in the same spot as soon as it leaves the plenum.also what is the pinch test again? or i mite be thinking of air regulator?

Posts: 191 | They carbon up pretty easy so pull it out,get some MIG welding tip cleaners, carby cleaner and a blower if you got a compressor n clean it out.Leave the air reg it'll be ok,never had to pull one out n i dont see why you should have to,they dont give much hassle.
