| fuel pump | | MICHAEL | Posted @ 06 Dec 2007, 1:07pm | Member
Posts: 241 | when the motor is turned off the fuel pump makes a hissing sound for bout 5 seconds. it sounds like the pressure is slowly depressurising is this normal as the pump seems to be doing its job even with bigger injectors.
i think the return line has also been crimped to keep a stronger fuel pressure?

Posts: 191 | Thats pressure release, not the the return line FROM the FPR.its on the pressurised side, anywhere from the fuel pump to the fuel rail, and check the FPR.make sure the vacuum line has'nt got a hole in it.
