Posts: 241 | it is a small petrol engine and i would like to increase hp at higher speed only having 1 gear if i increase the chamber will i have more power up higher but less down low as it appeared that way on my first run

Posts: | it is a petrol powered remote control car with a small trx 1.5 motor single sleeve piston single carby in line ports glow plug on racing fuel 2 stroke 2 cycle oil in fuel.
i have put a spacer plate in the head hoping to increase the size of the motor an after more power at higher rpm fuel is not a problem as i have plenty to play with at the turn of a screw valve so i just need a way to ignite it.
hoping that with more combustion space i can fit richer more fuel mix making a bigger bang and more hp at higher rpm i have also packed the motor with vasoline wich works well when it gets hot so can put more strain on motor. it has lost a fair bit of compression with spacer but on first attempt she seemed to pull more power at higher speeds so i have increased the spacer plate larger an waiting for a few parts before i can test makes it a bit sluggish of the mark spinning the wheels at higher speeds i will send you pics if you want to set up a email mine is cantlick@hotmail.com cheers
