| Fuel system | | Jerome Taylor | Posted @ 25 Oct 2007, 12:08pm | Member
Posts: 1 | My vl has a fuel system problem and I was wondering if anyone can help. When it gets below a quarter of a tank it runs a bit rough. It's got a standard fuel rail and injectors, standard lines but has a redline adjustable fuel pressure guage and walbro fuel pump but has standard vl intank pump.I think I may need to update intank pump? This car is a turbo auto with turbo computer and engine but gets plenty of air with ford throttle body and cooling with front mount intercooler. Also turbo is standard unit.I have read about vt intank units being used,is this easy to do,also carter is another brand, what is best, possibly surge tank?
