Posts: 3 | ay guys i was just wonderin if anyone knowz how to wire a tacho to vl ,coz i was goin to wire it to my coil pack but i heard it was unsafe...does any1 know wat color wire the tacho wire is in the vl

Posts: 11 | bro , dnt listen to eni1 , yes it CAN be unsafe if ur a spastic, just make sure thje negative and postive terminals dont touch , and make sure the green wire(depending on wat tacho it is)goes to the negative of the coil pack , and ur pretty much sweet.then theres a red cabe which goiin to ur ignition cable which is under the key hole u cant miss it, its a fat red cable, then u have to earth ur ground cable , iether fing a black cable coming from ur stereo or make its own grown on the car body , then then dependin what tacho it is if it has a shift light then there will be two wire black and purple , the are usually conected already if not they lead into the back of the tacho and ur done , make sure thje tacho sitz under the highest point off the dash for legal reasons ,or u can tell the jack to go fuk himself ,.have a good day fadi ;) aka muztoy
