Im looking to put a vl/vk/vn 8 cylinder into my r31 sykline, pref the vn 8 cylinder.
Just wondering if anyone has done this before or knows of someone who has.
Any tips on mounting the engine would be greatly appreciated also if anyone knows if i need to make an adaptor plate for the transmission to match the two up.
or if its possible to also swap the transmission for one off a vl v8 setup

Posts: 241 | r31 skyline are good cars mate in my opinion the best 6 cyl motor ever made.
the only advice i can give is put twin throttle bodies on the vn 5.0 and take all the running gear and maybe traction control. sounds like a mad project m8

Posts: 59 | hey mate my brother in law did the same thing with his r31 coupe but he twin turbz on his 5.0L don't ask how he fit it but it pulls just under 450hp and is doin 9 second passes untubed they are a good car u just need some bracing as r31 buckle easy
