04 Jan 11, 4:29pm DFKT3D Posts: 27	the high pressure power steering hose may be different depending on pump, easy fixed problem shouldnt be much from a wreckers mate, just a matter of finding the right one. but with luck you wont have to change it, depending on previous engines transmission and yours you may have to swap over tps. if yours is an automatic and the engine come out of a manual, your tps will be in need to swap with your blown engine, also a small problem. But automatic tps can be used on a manual. alternator, once again depending on year model of engine and car being the same you shouldnt have to change. but the alternators over the 3 years of production changed between the vn and vl alternators. also recommend to do plugs and leads at same time of engine swap and obviously oil change...if the history of engine is not known. thats all i can remember off the top of my head mate, hope it might help you out a little!

Took the old engine and gear box out today just gotta bolt the box on the good engine then send it off to my brothers friend because he's putting the engine in for me and wiring it up. they're both automatic so that shouldn't be a problem and the new engine already has everything like the power steering pump, alternator and everything so that'll be fine. and once the car is back with me i'll surely change oil, oil filter and plugs (the leads are already new). thanks again man
10 Jan 11, 8:19am DFKT3D Posts: 27	the alternator and power steering high pressure hose could be different to the ones that are in the car your putting it in. its no biggie, just a matter of swapping them over from engine to engine! good luck!
