Sorry if this has been a topic before.
I have a vl turbo but as I'm driving it will just cut out. Sometimes will start back up straight away, other times won't start for 10-15 mins.
Have changed spark plugs, CAS, rotor button and distributor, checked the timing but still can't work it out.
Could the problem be computer related as I am only running a stock n/a computer( I think I'm not sure how to tell the difference?)
Any help would be appreciated cheers

is it an auto? there is a little computer under the drivers side that controls the auto, sometimes wires in the loom come loose, give it a jiggle for a quick fix, then later find out which wires are loose and reconnect them. does it occur on rainy days? if so there could be a leak in the front window passenger side, if there is some rust even naked to the eye like under the window sill water can run down to the ecu cause it to malfunction, take the kick panel out from inside the front passenger to access the ecu, take it out if u suspect its been exposed to water and dry it, sounds wierd but put it back sealed in a plastic bag to stop it accuring again to save u having to fix the rust problem. there is a good chance that it is a n/a ecu that your running, if so fit up a factory turbo ecu, better still get an aftermarket ecu wired up, this will solve a lot of niggling little problems and you can do away with the air flow meter, have a more reliable crank angle sensor and back you up for more mods down the take
