VL CALAIS TURBO HDT LE

Up for very regretful auction ON eBAY is my GENUINE VL CALAIS TURBO HDT LE BROCK COMMODORE. Build number 3523 date 9/86. This LE is in original rare silver slate and has factory sun roof, this is one of only 53 turbo models ever made. I have owned this investment since 25/06/05, approx 5 years. I bought it with 154006kms on the clock. I have spent the last 5 years restoring it, still needs a few things though. Missing Quarter glass garnishes, Momo star wheels, Polarizer, interior light cover and front scheel seats need to be retrimed, rear boot spoiler not fitted but comes with car.

Engine bay modified and 100% engineered, Forged pistons, ported head, heavy duty valve springs, Nismo N1 GTR oil pump, Garrett GT35 turbo,external wastegate, 3" exhaust, high flow cat and muffler, Micks Metal Craft plenum, front mount intercooler, 550cc injectors, bosch 044 external pump and walbro internal, 3/8" fuel lines, Aeromotive rising rate fuel pressure regulator 1:1, Motec M48 engine management, Motec wiring harness, only road tuned has not been on dyno, Battery in boot, aluminium radiator. Also this LE was origanally automatic and is now turbo 5 speed with custom heavy duty clutch. I have spent over $25k on engine and running gear alone. The odometer now reads198931kms, but engine has only done approx 15000kms. Engine block in car is not an original A8, When machinist bored original A8 block they bored it over size to the pistons so was cheaper to get another donner block. May sell as a roller ( no engine or box or engine management etc). Original block with corresponding numbers comes with sale.
