This is my 1987 SL VL Turbo, the car has been hiding away in the shed for the past four or so months due to destroying the original engine. The new high comp (not sure what compression ratio is exactly, somewhere between turbo and n/a) engine has been finnished and consists of a brand new t3/t4 highflow turbo from atp turbo in melbourne, new standard vl turbo injectors, a rising rate malpassi fuel pressure regulator, i also snatched up a new 5spd (only mf5) because the last one was getting a bit average on changing into 2nd, also got my mechanic to pick me up a pretty serious clutch (cant remember what he got, sorry) because the last one was destroyed. Other mods are a GKtech intercooler and piping, full 3" exhaust from turbo back with 3" highflow cat thanks to mick at autotek,a bosch 044 external fuel pump, the car is going to run a constant 1bar (14.7psi) of boost, and moz (mechanic) hopes to see around the 200rwkw mark. Will be getting it dyno'd as soon as its going and will post up the actual power. Mods for the near future are full respray same colour blue with astroid silver bumpers, maybe even a fake calais conversion, a Heltech computer and bigger injectors.
